Diana C Patin is a photographer, artist, and educator currently living and working in Eugene, Oregon. She has called many places home, but she has always been proudest of her roots in Louisiana.
Thematically, Diana is most interested in exploring her identity through photography with regards to her queerness, her fatness, the domestic, the mythology of the American South, and generational ties to food and cooking. She photographs intimate scenes of her own life in order to explore her relationship with them.
Diana works in both digital and analog mediums, although she is particularly fond of 4x5 view cameras and color film.
Also, Diana really loves a good summer downpour.
